    Don't Go, Diapers are changed in the dining room

    The food is bad and the location is unsanitary. We have been there a few times and the food is like Stouffers frozen food. We were going to give it another try and when entering the dining room we smelled what we thought was sewage or that the bathroom had plumbing issues. When we told one of the staff she said it was due to a customer who was changing a baby's diaper in the dining room. Gross!! Too bad I wasn't from the health department..

    Triscuit, really?

    Do they still have triscuit on the Antipasto platter? I, mean, really is this appropriate? I expect something a little nicer from an italian restaurant. We haven't been back in two years!

    Wonderful family dinner at Big Tomato! The kids loved their pasta and our pizza was delicious! Would recommend this place to our friends - with kids and without!

    Very Good!

    We really enjoyed the food and it was priced very well. We ordered the 2 different kinds of bruschetta and enjoyed them both. We than each had a Caeser salad-it was good/average. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Surpreme Special with Prawns. It came with mashed potatos and a variety of seasonal vegetables. I had the Marghereta (sp?) pizza. It was huge! Brought half of it home and will enjoy it tomorrow for lunch. We loved the atmosphere! I didn't like how the bar doesn't have a blender, so you can't order frozen drinks. The only other thing was that the manager kept hanging around to see how people liked their meals. Not that that is a bad thing, but perhaps he should wait until the table is done eating. Overall, very good and we will definately return again!

    BRUTAL! Where's the MANAGER??

    What a horrible experience! I'll try to be brief. Wine: 1 bottle of "Italian" red on the menu and yet none available. Wine service: Clearly the waitress has not been trained on pouring wine. 2nd bottle and she just pours me a full glass, no tasting. Food: There were 8 of us. All meals came at different times, and looked completely different even though several diners ordered the same thing. 2 of my friends ordered shellfish linguine, which came out 10 minutes apart. Then the meals looked completely different. 1 had tomatoes in it, and the other didn't, as well there was minimal shellfish... 3 of my friends ordered the same meal "chicken carbonara" (chicken, pancetta, etc). When they came out there was NO chicken and NO pancetta. AND....the noodles were different across the meals. We sent them back, and waited 15 minutes and they returned with 3 little cubes of chicken. We were very courteous with our waitress, as we knew it wasn't her fault, yet even she could give no explanation. Said something like "well, it's a new prep guy and the sous chef...". Finally my husband said they should consider some reduction in the bill after all of this. We waited, and eventually a man came over, didn't introduce himself and basically said "you're getting the 3 meals free". There was no apology, no attempt to explain.... When we asked our waitress who the man was, she said he was a waiter who had been here 6 or 7 years. Where was the management?????? Also, at one point, my husband had asked about doing something nice for my birthday, and the bar staff seemed supportive, but in the end the waitress just said, "oh her dessert is free". Overall a really terrible experience. There are 8 people who would never return. A couple of us had pasta dishes we did like....gnocchi and a pesto fettucine special....

    Good, we would go again.

    Great pizza. Steak a bit overdone. Trout delicious. Definitely have to try again. Waiters stand around a bit watching everyone, with management. Good overall. Nicer upscale restaurant to move away from the pub scence for families.
