After one year working as associate veterinarians in private practices in Northumberland County, Lex Luttikhuis and Michelle Chiunti opted to form their own veterinary business. Initially, Michelle provided equine veterinary care throughout the county. However, the search was on for a site for a small animal hospital as well. Because of its proximity to Highway 401, affordability, and potential for growth, Colborne Ontario provided the location we settled upon, and still practice from today.We purchased a century home on Percy St. in Colborne in October of 1990 with the generous help of a local banker that believed we could provide a valuable service to this community. It took a year to renovate our newly purchased home to provide small animal veterinary services from the back 700 square feet.     Recently got my dog neatured and the stitches didnt fully come out which turned into a blue zit like looking figure. He diagnosed it for a cyst and game me meds ...$150 later and find out from other vets it was because the incision. Let alone bringing this up to the front desk she was belittling me instead (telling me literally to fuck off as well) of delivering my message.DO NOT GO.
