I would never hire this lawyer again

I hired Andrea to do a residential closing. I found her work to be extremely unsatisfactory. When I showed up to sign the papers, she have clarity on what all of the instructions from the bank meant. Upon closing, she still didn't know what they all meant and I was told by her assistant I had to track down the information for them. She also issued me a cheque for substantially more than she should have from her trust account, as she failed to act on instructions from the lender that were sent twice 3 days prior to closing, confirming the final amount of the mortgage to be advanced. She also failed to confirm the amount on the day of closing - in fact, did not find out she had made a mistake until 43 days later, when she notified me that I now owed her office the full amount of the overage. She charged me a full fee and was only willing to reduce it by a fractionally. Her reasoning being she had been extremely ill, but chose to work anyway. I will never hire her again.
