Got some Chickenz and some purple drank. I was like "yo dawg fo real!". Didn't have any watermelon, server kept saying they got none. I know she be playing.
The restaurant itself is clean and softly lit, which adds to a general feeling of intimacy. There are two beautiful fish tanks filled with African cichlids and lit with a soft blue fluorescent lights right when you walk in the front door. Once we gave our name there was no waiting to be seated. As soon as we were seated the waitress took our drink orders and the drinks were brought to our table within three minutes. Once the waitress took our order it was a very short time until we got our salads. The Caesar salad dressing was creamy and delicious and the Greek salad had the perfect amount of vinegar and oil. Our meals came about four minutes after we were done the salads. The meat was perfectly cooked and the hummus was perfect. I would like to have been offered a water refill more than once during my meal, and waiting for the bill was much too long. The place was filled to capacity on Valentines Day so I can understand slightly slow service. Over all I would recommend a trip to anyone, and maybe I’ll see you there because I’m certainly going back.
our server was polite, but it seemed forced. Even thou we were the only ones in the restaurant she made no effort to have friendly conversation. She mixed up our order and we were missing two items that we ordered, when asked to rectify it her service became rude, bordering on ignorant. We never did get our two missing items. We did not tip her because of it, and for that she actually made a rude comment to us about it. Bottom line, tips are for appreciation of service, and there was nothing to appreciate. The food we did get was excellent and I will definately visit LaLuna again but I think it will be worth the extra driving to visit the location on Queen St, as the service there has always been top notch and the food is the same high quality.

Its too bad the food doesn't measure up. We had the lentil soup which was just ok. Not terrible but nothing to rave about. For the main dish we both felt like fish and chips .They were lousy. The typical over battered thin pieces of fish.Not to mention the fries were dry and tasteless.
As far as our waitress goes,her mind seemed elsewhere and she was not very friendly or attentive.
For the prices they charge there are better places out there.
This was my first time eating at this particular restaurant. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how peaceful the atmosphere was. There was no loud music or crazy patrons. The waitress came right away. I ordered the pepper chicken entree which included rice and roasted potatoes and mushrooms. It also came with warm pitas on the side. Each entree is approx. $22 but you definitely get your moneys worth of food. I only ate about half my meal before I was full. It was absolutely delicious. They let you pack up your leftovers too. Our waitress refilled my water glass without being asked. I was with a party of about nine people and we all loved our food. I did not hear one negative comment. Great place. I will definitely recommend and visit again.
Hated it. Bad food, bad service, bad decor. Would not eat there again ever or recommend it to anyone (that I liked). Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else
Delicious falafel at this location......this is all I ever get at this place or Montford and this one is awesome, plus the side sauce that you get is so so good!!! Also tried the spinach pie and that is definately made from scratch, you can taste it in the dough, it is amazing. Great decor and waitresses....my friend has been going since it's opened and she has now converted me, she is the biggest fan of their greek salad!!!
La Luna has THE best hummus EVER! Especially this location. I've been eating at La Luna for almost 20 years and have never been disappointed.
Their Shish-Tawook is amazing, so is their Kebbeh. Ohhh, my mouth is watering right now!
I live on Concession St. and eat here regularly. I love most food on the menu (I don't order the Canadian foods, so don't know what they're like).
I find all the dishes very flavourful and usually they are hot and cooked perfectly. The odd time, the meat's been a bit dry. My favourites are the pepper chicken, the mixed platter and the lemon garlic chicken. Most of the appetizers are delicious, especially the mushrooms and chickpeas.
The absolute best server is Helen. She is incredibly professional and always provides efficient, friendly service.
Overall, an excellent place to eat with a great atmosphere.

The staff was barky and complained making snide comments whenever they felt the need to do so. We were charged twice for the dinner and had a difficult time getting our money refunded. The receipt was not broken down so we had no idea what the cost per person, taxes etc were. We felt like we were taking up the staff's time and how dare we eat and talk because then we would be there too long! Just an all around nasty vibe!

The lettuce for the salad was old and limp with only 3 olives and not much feta cheese and for $6.95 I expected it not to taste as though it came out of a bag. The falafel was ok but the spinach pies were salty mainly cos they used canned spinach. They were huge but unappetizing.
The salads are amazing. I am addicted to the Fatoosh! The chicken is delicious, wonderfully seasoned. The humous was a ittle bitter, but the rest of my party liked it.
My wife and I went here for my wifes birthday. Dinner was perfect and so was the service. We ordered a dinner for 2 meal which included 2 salads plus 5 appetiezers plus a dinner entre. Service was quick and food was hot and delicious. If your willing to try something new with different meal ideas this restaurant is worth it.
Would definitely come back.
