Hawkestone General Store

I quite like the Hawkstone General Store. Pretty good selection, and mostly very good service. Clearly the LCBO Agency keeps the store busy which is fine by me even though I rarely buy alcohol.

If there was a way to rate this 0 stars, I would. The owner has zero customer service skils. She will keep you waiting while she talks in the phone and constantly yells at customers coming around the counter to get in their face. Forget about taking empties back. Half the time they have a sign on the door that they aren't taking empties(which happens to be against the terms of their agent contract)

My husband went to Hawkestone store to buy a case of beer & he was denied, saying he was visually impaired. My husband had zero alcohol in his system. We will never go to this store again & definitely would not recommend Hawkestone General Store to anyone.
