My dogs and my family always enjoy classes we have taken here. We have taken part in puppy classes, manners one, manners two, agility. I always refer people here and everyone has been happy.
I took my Chihuahua to Canine Campus and was thrilled with the personal support and guidance we received. My questions were answered professionally, with easy to understand instruction. Our training sessions were amazing and I attribute my Chihuahua’s good manners and socialising to Canine Campus. On another note: Lucinda constantly volunteers her time to assist our rescue Chihuahuas and their foster families with any behavioural issues. She is always available to help and willing to share
Negative experiences:
- were asked to take more advanced class even though our dog was newly adopted and never been to obedience
- told to fade food rewards even though she hadn't learnt most of the behaviours in the class
- when a dog snapped and snarled at our dog, we were told that we should have been quicker to remove our dog… basically, when our dog was on the receiving end of aggression, we were the ones who were chastised.
Hi there, I am so sorry that you were not pleased with the class and did offer to move you to a smaller, intro level class. I chose the initial class based on extensive communications that we had prior to you starting. You actually had originally requested a higher level class and this one was what I felt was a good compromise. We would still be happy to have you join us in another class, as offered.

Positive Training, positive results!
After having worked with and studied under a number of dog trainers in the GTA, I can attest that Canine Campus in Markham is an excellent dog training school. The location is easily accessible and the space is very clean, which is especially critical for the health of puppies. The instructors are enthusiastic and truly care about the dogs and their people. The school’s positive training methods based on the science of learning theory are not only effective, they also guarantee in a pleasurable training experience for both human and canine. Whether you are looking for basic obedience for a polite pet or interested in pursuing some advanced skills, such as agility, rally-o, or therapy work, Canine Campus offers a number of classes at convenient times during the week. Also, owner and head trainer Lucinda Glenny specializes in dogs with aggression and fear issues, so if you are struggling with either with your dog, the “High Anxiety” class or a private lesson may just be the help you need to make living with your pet pleasurable again.
Absolutely the best dog trainer ever. I took in an American Bulldog with aggression issues which was way over my head in terms of my ability with dogs. He had pretty bad aggression to the point he could not be around other people. After a few in-house sessions, we were invited to join a class. She has been fantastic in training my boy and giving both him and me the confidence to succeed and li...ve normal, happy lives together. What a turn around for a dog who was going to be put down to the happy, smart, obedient, and intelligent boy I have today. This would not have been possible without Lucinda and her team at Canine Campus in Markham! Very knowledgeable and patient with their training methods and I am thrilled to where we have gotten to with my dog, and i am very much looking forward to working with them in the future! I would highly recommend them if you are looking for dog training, especially if you have a difficult case like mine, with sever behavioral issues. It was such a positive experience and an absolutely great success story!
