My husband read reviews that steaks were overdone, so he ordered his meadium (when he prefers medium well), and it came out medium well! So in our experience, steaks ARE overcooked!
Agnolotti was ok. Sauce was bland.
Warm mushroom salad was overpriced for sauteed muchrooms (button, nothing fancy) ontop of mixed greens for $10.
Overall, food was OK. Service was slow.
Atmosphere in dire need of updating. (restaurant makeover??)
Two appetizers, two house wines, one pasta, one steak, no dessert for $100 w/ tx & tip
I ordered the Mahi Mahi pan seared with poppy seed coating and mango sauce on top, the fish had no flavor, the mango sauce was too sweet and did not taste like mango. The server did not ask us how our meal was the entire time. My husband had the steak with red wine reduction, he asked the server before ordering what the meal comes with, they said it comes with red wine reduction sauce, mashed potatoes and veggies. When he got the meal, it had mushrooms in the sauce and roasted potatoes...he hates mushrooms, so that was not a good sign, the steak was bland...also, we ordered a caesar salad to start, it was such a small portion and expensive...the salad was overdressed. If you go to a restaurant where they can't even get the salad right, you might as well not even try the rest of the food...
