We went there for are anniversary service & foods was great , I order something different from menu they did it the way I like + no extra .
Service was amazing , desert too we will go back again !
My extended family and I visited La Toscana to celebrate our Aunt's 75th birthday and it was simply wonderful. The service was excellent (Pasquale is a very attentive and charming waiter) and the food was exquisite. Oysters were incredibly fresh, and everyone raved about their meals. I would most certainly recommend La Toscana for any occasion. It was well worth the drive from Guelph.
It had been about 8 years since we had been at La Toscana as we had moved away. Went tonight with good friends and were charmed by the food, service and ambience.
The paglia pasta was incredible. Everything else was great.
It was a fantastic dinner for "Mother's Day" The food was really good & the wine hit the spot.
As a mother, I received, a complimentary rose at our departure - a rose which kept for almost two weeks - according to our Polish culture I would have said that it was trully given "from the heart"
The only down side was the pricey bill at the end.
I hope my husband can afford to take us there again one day.
This was my first time to a Milton restaurant we went in a party of 6 to celebrate a big anniversary.
Started with mussels and a Caesar salad. The mussels were HUGE and very fresh, not at all chewy, bathed in a nice tomato wine sauce, YUM. The Caesar was amazing, creamy garlicy just the way i like it, just NOT ENOUGH OF IT! :)
I ordered the beef tenderloin, I believe it was marinated in something, cooked perfect medium rare and melt in your mouth good. The potato was "scalloped" but we got 2 small potato wedges, not what I expected tasted fine I just don't how that could be called scalloped. The veg was bok choy and carrots a little boring and bland for my liking, but the steak made up for it. Presentation was nice, the plates were HUGE.
We also got a few bottles of wine, one was a Tuscany red, very tasty, I cannot recall the white but i believe there was a wiener dog on the label, it was also good.
Overall I really enjoyed the food, there was also some interesting specials I would like to try in the future, I will definitely be going back to try something new.

This place is a treasure you people have in your small town of Milton. atmosphere like this is hard to find. Coming in from Toronto and having been at some great Restaurants.Two of us had the fish sp ( Mahi Mahi) and two had the (Bison Striploin) we would of paided double for that portion and quality in T.O. and may I add PROFESSIONAL service (no want to be actors) here.
these pros know their wine, I could not stop talking about this place for days!!
we came to this place after reading the reviews. What a disapointment. My steak was overcooked not once, not twice, but three times. I didn't send it back anymore. My wife's salmon was also over cooked and dry. The waiter even had the nerve to ask us how we enjoyed the great food. Our plates had most of our meat/fish on it.
We are definitely removing this place from our radar of favourite places.
Consistently good. Always the place to celebrate new jobs, special birthdays, promotions and doesn't disappoint. Every time we try something else in town in this price range we wished we had just returned to La Toscana. The people working there are great, they have been so flexible when we needed things.
This is our stereotypical 'you got a raise' place. We go here, because it is always good. If we try to skimp and save a few bucks and still spend a lot at one of the chain restaurants, we always end up regretting not just returning to La Toscana. One thing to note is I dont think they open Sundays. Bummer!
This is one of my favourite places to eat, although expensive. The wait staff are very polite although slow at times.
and to joan c who reviewed, this resteraunt is NOT part of new milton, its on mainstreet which is OLD milton. "New" milton is anywhere outside steels &,bronte and thompson and derry rd.

What a stunning restaurant with fresh orchids on every table.From the minute u walk in u feel at home.I was out to impress and they sure did that.My friends called me the next day to thank me.
Wonder old style ambiance. Food was excellent, service superb. Waiter was charming and humorous. Loved my veal and my friend enjoyed her beef. We both had Caesar salads which were quite good. Shared a variety plate of dessert that was mouth watering and too much for the both of us to finish. Would definitely go back again.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT.This is the only fine dining restaurant with character.The other fine dining establishment is in a strip mall.Milton is an old city with charm and La toscana adds to the charm.Why would u go anywhere else.The mature waiters are so easy to talk to and professional.
we were very pleased.the only negative was i think that the lights were on too bright.The waiters were very personable and our waiter was very comicable.All in a good way.Will be back soon.
