Drinks are good but the supervisor winnie is so rude, she makes you wait for 30 mins and gives your order one at a time.. When i asked if this is the system she was just making faces.. Not coming back to this place again, they are friendlier if you speak chinese and not so if you dont
My girlfriend's and I visited recently. Yummy drinks, however, they take long to make. The place was crowded.. showing that it is popular.. among teenagers. Prices were fair enough... I'm sure my daughter would much prefer it here than I do.
Some of the bubbleteas are okay, though I find them to be quite watered down. I also find that Bubble Republic (Hurontario) is a haven for young high school students, thusly a loud environment which I do not find all that pleasant. It would be nice if the music were lowered. The prices are pretty expensive considering that a large drink will bring you to nearly an excess of $5 - $6 which is not all that reasonable. Bubbletea houses in Toronto have a much more reasonable price ranging anywhere from $3 - $5MAX with a larger variety and more flavor. I had tried my friend's order of fried chicken on rice, it's quite mediocre. It's just fried cubes of chicken on rice which becomes sponged with grease. The minced meat on rice is also too salty and much too greasy. The service can take quite long for a single drink, and it's annoying when some of waitresses constantly ask my table if we are fine. It is of good courtesy to do that, but not every 5 minutes because then it becomes a nuisance. The Bubble Republic on Creditview is a nicer but there needs to be more light inside.
OH-KAY, where to begin on this putrid place of a restaurant. I've come to the location on Eglinton and Hurontario a number of times, the first time I went there was horrendous, the place wasn't that busy at all infact there was maybe 2 other groups of people there at the time. I ordered a small taro without any tapioca. which is my first problem with this place, the smallest and cheapest item costs almost $3, for watered down juice that I could more than likely buy from the grocery store around the corner for less than half the price and twice the amount and taste. But putting the quality of the drink aside it took almost half an hour for me to get my order when like mentioned before, wasn't even that busy. I decided to give this place the benefit of the doubt and give it another chance, and this time I ordered something a little bigger being a Large oreo black milk tea, this time, not only did they mess up my order but they were about charge me for both the mix up and my order. Time to make it had not changed at all and it was possibly less busy. That was strike 2. And finally I decided to give the place one last chance, I got a whole meal along with my bubbletea. not only did it take longer for me to get my order which took almost an hour to get. but the milktea was as watered down as ever, the chicken wings were all crispy skin and no meat, and almost $7 for 3 small pieces of shrimp. overall I've given this place 3 chances but everytime it has disappointed, I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone
The atmosphere is great and lively. We had a server who unfortunately didn't speak much English, but she was still friendly and eager to get our orders right. I would recommend that you order the bubble teas and cold drinks as my brother ordered a hot peppermint tea which was an unnatural kelly-green colour (green food colouring). We ordered onion rings and fries, and those were tasty
This place is 'bubbling' with activity...I discovered it because it's on my way home and there's always people outside...So, I dropped by. I wasn't big on bubble tea before, but this place changed my mind. Great for late night munchies and just chatting. I can bring my friends because the waitresses speak perfect english, which makes things easy. Plus, it's not expensive and the food is good as well. Maybe they can make the menus bigger so you don't have to strain your eyes LOL. Again, the food tastes like the way you'd expect it to.
There seems to be new waitresses there now, which are all very good looking! It's a good place to chill out with your friends. Music there is jammin' and overall, pretty good! I definitely recommend people to go there. P.S. to "oneglance" most of the time it's loud because of the number of people in the store and next time why don't you ask for a new drink? Im sure they'll make another one for you - they did for me.
I found this place quite small. It's pretty crowded on weekends. It's very loud. It's a place to just sit and talk while drinking bubble tea. I did not like the bubble tea the last few times I went. The powder was not mixed properly! The powder was still on the rims. I have ordered the small before and it is extremely small. So if you are going to sit for long then order large! I rather drink pop at a different restaurant.
I liked their combo that includes a bubble tea to enjoy. $8~$10 for a good meal + good drink is a good deal It's very busy, filled with young crowd, waitresses are pretty and friendly. One of the best hang out place in Mississauga
