Daiana our server was great! My name's Giovani and I used to serve for 5 years, so I know a good server when I see one. Daiana was professional, considerate, checked on each individual person, was helpful, and also very friendly and down to earth. Her service brings Scaddabush up to the next level!

We were at Playdium and decided to visit Alice Fazooli's. The restaurant itself was very crowded, there were many people for a Wednesday evening. We were given a table right away and given menus. Our server, whose name was Jack, came over and took our drink order. He was working with a new server, whose name was Shawn. Both of the servers were pleasant and helpful in the beginning. We ordered our meal and waited patiently. The fried calamari came pretty quick. It was good, very crispy, and the dipping sauce was amazing. I had ordered a pizza and as I understood from the menu, the salad was included with the pizza. However, Jack pointed out to me later on that the salad is only included with the pizza for lunch. I have to say I wasn't too impressed with the menu as it was printed so small that I couldn't read it, and plus it didn't say 'salad only with lunch'. The pizza was pretty good, really big and tasty. The service on the otherhand, wasn't that great. As we were eating, neither Jack nor Shawn came to check on us. We had to wait at least 10 minutes to receive our bill, the service wasn't up to par as I would have expected. The food was good, but the service could have been better.
I went here because I was attending a show at the Living Arts Centre and it is close by. My barely cooked ravioli came out on a bed of frigid sauce, which when asked, the server took back to warm. My friend's pasta came to us in the same state. When our plates returned to the table, they were barely warmer than previously. I did not attempt to return it again as we needed to get fed and to the show and our children were in the midst of their meals. I was extremely disappointed as I had been to this location for lunch many times before in the past, but now will never return.
I'm a regular customer. I Love the Shrimp Angelhair and the other items are pretty excellent for the money. Its a nice alternative if you don't want to head downtown or yonge & eglinton area for nice italian. Atmosphere is relaxing. Music is great in the dining area for a relax feel. The bar section is more upbeat and great to unwind to. Atmosphere and food makes this place one of my favorite chains.
Really good food, and the service was good too. No complaints at all, and would return without hesitation.
The Worst service possible. We arrived for my birthday with no resevation but were told to seat ourselves in the lounge until our table was ready. We were told, at every table in the open lounge, those tables were on reserve (no reservation signs visable) - we were allowed to order drinks and appetizers to start our dinner - then the manager made us move from our table - then the hostess made us move from that table and we were told 'you are at the bottom of the list' and we would have to stand in the front doorway with our drinks and disapointing appetizer platter for another 30 minutes for a table. We, of course, left at that moment. They ruined my birthday and treated us like second-class citizens. Plus I HATE how they changed they're restaurant layout with the lounge crowding up the front of the restaurant. We didn't even get to finish our over priced drinks and half-hazzardly put together platter that would have cost us $19.99, had we not decided to leave due to apallingly poor and substandard service. I will never go to ANY of their restaurants again - which includes Alice Fazooli's, Jack Astor's, and Canyon Creek. (oddly, the only restaurants on that strip at Square One) Too bad for them (but good for us).... we left when we did before we actually spent any money. PS - this was a result to poor managing. I could understand us having to essentially "leave" due to our own rude or unacceptable behaviour, but we were poliet, quiet, and accomedating (to a point) with the situation.
I was so disappointed with this restaurant. The food was too expensive for the quality of what we got. ($15 for a meal, without a drink). The Chicken Parm has no taste. The ceasar salad was limp and watery. The Striploin Sandwhich was dry. And, the Virgin Raspberry Mojito was DISGUSTING! The waitress recommend it as a "tasty virgin drink". It looked like someones yard clippings in a glass and it was near impossible to drink due to the raspberry seeds and scrunched up mint leaves. AVOID THIS DRINK!
We came, and the waitress was very nice, super smily, the anti pasto i wouldn't order again because is a total rip. on the pic the platter look full and had lots of food for 15,99 its a total rip!!
we were told the wait was 30 min-we saw "many party of four" going before us -so we asked if they were taking reservations,they said "no" but they take short notice(15 min)call in lieu of reservations(??that sounds like reservation to me!)-after 1:30hr waiting, we decided to leave with our 2 children to another resto.In conclusion very poor service-staff couldn't handle the situation properly nor efficiently-no apologies-no trying to get a table for us-actually we were told we were "next" quite a few times within the hour and half-the hostess kept staring @ the floor with nothing to say as about 15 people were staring and waiting and as I was trying to get my kids dressedup-it was my last experience @ Fazooli & worst restaurant experience ever!!! PS.It was our first time taking the kids with us to Fazooli's-we were celebrating the purchase of my new Volvo-it totally spoiled the mood!!!
Great atmosphere, and it is fancy. One of the few places I'll go out to eat!
We always choose Alice Fazooli's for the service first and then the food. Wendy the bartender always makes our visit worth coming back too!
Excellent food, great atmosphere. I have never gone there and had either a bad meal or bad service. Fantastic restaurant for special occations like birthdays, anniversaries, valentine's day.
Food is always average, kind of a pricey version of Jack Astor's (same company).
Excellent food; very busy restaurant, sometimes more waiters are needed. Appetizers and Garlic Breads are wonderful. Pasta is their specialty and all kinds are delicious.
Went for a romantic birthday dinner, the food was excellent. We had the nicest and most attentive server. The food was abundant, took some home and the next day it taste even better! (Mississauga/Sq 1 location)
It is a little fancy, but quite boring. Service is neither approachable nor polite. The food is given in really small proportions, so if you are not really full, then I suggest you go here.
The cocktails were horrible. They don't even know how to make a Caesar. Food is poor for the price they charge. Service is the only thing that would pass.
worst resaurant ever the management did not even know how to run the restaurant let alone talk to the customers
The food was pretty bad. No taste really. Waitress seemed afraid to put more ice in my drink like she had to pay for it. Service was pretty good. This is the second time I've been there since they changed the menu. I may go again and try something else. Last time I had chicken fettucini and it was just ok, nothing special. I recommend they revert back to the previous menu. That was awesome, especially the bread.
