Very welcoming, with excellent, friendly service. Great value, and delicious food. We will need to go back to try other menu items the next time we are in town!

The small family owned restaurant with a warming atmosphere, coffee refill, good food and nobody will approach your table every 10 minutes to ask "how is the meal...like it?" Gregoris and his wife cook and serve the small place that competes with the big places....be early...they get pretty busy sometimes. Gyros, pizza, lassagna, slovakis, carbonatta...everything home made. Try it.

BEST GREEK FOOD FOUND IN OWEN SOUND

For the BEST Greek food in all of OWEN SOUND, be sure to visit the EUROPA RESTAURANT on 8th Street East. Greg makes the pizza the same way he did in his restaurant in Greece. (much better than a cdn. pizza recipe.) and his gyros have people travelling over 6 hours to get a taste of one. Anna's Greek salad is phenomenal as is her baclava + other greek dishes she whips up. Of course she uses fresh homegrown dyosmos in her dishes. (prepared as it was handed down from her Mom & "ya ya") The friendly family atmosphere and fun just adds to the meal. Don't be surprised if their son Achilles is there singing Greek songs while preparing your meals. We eat here regularly, as do all our friends. You are in for a treat !! (they also serve Canadian homecooking as well. but its the GREEK FOOD that impresses us!) and yes they have TAKE OUT as well.
