We’ve been serving the Kingston, Kawartha and Northumberland areas for over 20 years. Although Friendly Fires was started in Peterborough, we are an Ontario Canada company. In order to better serve our customers, in 2009 we celebrated the opening of our Northumberland (Cobourg) location, in July 2012 we merged with Renewable Energy of Plum Hollow to expand our offerings to include solar and pellet solutions, and in 2015 we opened our showroom in Carleton Place to better serve our Ottawa and Lanark County customers. more...     We had an opportunity to visit the show room for the first time and were quite well serviced. I believe Steve was our first contact, well we were so impressed we got our fire place serviced and a BARBQUE GAS was also purchased. The bbq was assembled, delivered the gas line hooked up. I would say this business understands service.

    Friendly fires Peterborough is a lovely store. There’s so many gas and wood fireplaces to choose from it could be confusing. I was helped by Gene and Eric and they helped me choose a proper appliance for my home and made sure everything was taken care of. I sure am toasty.😊Thanks Friendly fires

    I came into the store today to pick up an item. I waited over 20 minutes for someone to talk today. I picked up a fairly heavy article for a friend. I needed assistance. I receive very little help and I believe it was raining. Sad part was I looking to buy as well but again- very little assistance or service enough said

    I had Kyle and Steve over to install a wall furnace and I love it ... they were very professional and great people to answer any questions with concerns I’m sure I’m going to be happy with this product....
