    Bechthold Home Improvements provided us with a variety of window options to suit our needs (old windows were drafty). The crew that installed the windows were efficient and cleaned up after the installation was done. The day after the windows were installed, I had to turn down the thermostat as the new windows are working like a charm. Thank you Bechthold Home Improvements for a fantastic job. We will contact you in the spring to do our main floor next.

    Bechthold installed three retractable screens at my house. One started failing to retract within a year. Ive been trying to get him to service it for basically a year and cant get any action out of him. Wont even reply any more. Contacted the manufacturer and they are providing me with the name of another dealer to service Bechtholds work.

    We admit and are sorry there was a large delay (our fault, winter & Covid shut down) in servicing the screen and we regret this. We are reviewing our process to make sure an issue like this does not happen again. After 1 year of use issues can come up due to use, ware & tare, & if maintenance is not completed. The screen needed the spring tension adjusted and the tracks cleaned & sprayed with silicone. Installed July 2018, issue reported Oct 2019 & solved June 22 2020.

    Bechthold Home Improvements provided a quote and we chose them to replace all the windows on our century home. It was tricky as we wanted to keep the oak molding in tact, and there were multiple types (crank, slide etc.). They were quick and the measurements were perfect so they were completed within a few days. They left the property very clean inside and out.
