Meet the owner

Heidi Thomas and her sister Lyndsey grew up with a love of animals and knew they’d one day turn that passion into a career. As professionally trained and certified dog groomers, they had a few ideas on how they could do things differently than other pet grooming studios. In 2010, when the opportunity came up to take over L.A. Pet Grooming, a local pet grooming salon, they jumped at the chance. They’ve been caring for animals in the Pickering area ever since.

Knowing much of their business is returning customers, Heidi and Lyndsey sought to make the pet grooming easier on the pet owners as well as the pets. “We do pick-up and delivery,” she explains, “we know a lot of our customers are older and can’t get their pets here very easily, so it’s another thing we do for our customers. We’re also open seven days a week so we can work around our customers’ schedules.”

    Dont go to this groomer. I made an appointment with them for 9am. Called them at 12pm wondering where the hell my dog is and they said they havent even started on him. Its been almost 5 hours and hes still not home yet. They have them just sitting inside by the sink waiting. Awful!!! DO NOT GO THERE!

    5 star This owner and her team care and do more than what is required I have been a customer since 1998 the first owner “Alley” was wonderful (rip) and Heidis team are wonderful ..,.my cat salem purrs when he leaves and of course the canine team can’t wait to get out of my vehicle when I arrive at their shop With my felines and canines

    I have anever older cat and her first lion shave was a very easy experience for her and myself. I didn't know what to expect and the staff made it so relaxing for the both of us . Thank you

    I would not recom...

    I would not recommend this groomer to anyone. My happy golden doodle is terrified to go into this groomer. We went to multiple groomers before LA Grooming and she never had a problem, but after visiting this groomer she is now scared of the whole process. Anything that could make her that scared is not okay with me. Not only that but she also looked horrible after! They did a terrible job.
