This Review is for the Petawawa McDonald's on July 10th. This is a daily meeting place for my husband and I to enjoy a coffee and muffin. Unlike every other day this one turned out to be a complete fiasco! There was a group of young teens that were not only disruptive but disrespectful of the establishment and it's customers by repeatedly throwing mixed fountain drinks around, screaming, yelling, and in general just trashing the area. We couldn't believe that this went unnoticed by Supervisors
I am a big fan of McDonalds food, however I have visited our local McD's several times in the past few months and each time I become less and less impressed.
I myself work at another fast food franchise and realize that customer service is a difficult job, and that keeping everything straight can become difficult as well, however I believe that service with a smile is a big thing.
Tonight when I visited the store I was getting off work and went through the drive thru, hoping to get 3 coffees, a kids meal a poutine and a big mac.
However my order was not repeated back and i was told that the burger,poutine and one of the coffees would be a meal, I didn't question this too much until I was out of the drive thru.
The bag containing my "meal" did not have a poutine but had fries, which would have been okay, but the fries in both the kids nugget meal and the BigMac meal were old, cold and hard. I could bang most of the fries off the dash and watch them crumble and hear it, like tapping a rock on the dash. This did not impress me.
When I thought about taking it back I realized i was not offered a recipe and i will not be going back to Renfrew's McDonalds, due to the fact that is not the first time things like this have happened to me.
Simple coffee orders have been screwed up and now hole meals, in my mind this is unexpectable and thats not including the dirty environment and poor service.
I went in tonight to get my free big mac from senator game last night ( drove 30 minutes) and manager said she wasn't aware of promotion so would not give me my free big mac…Very bad service!!!
