I loved my first visit to Vincent's Place!
The food is plentiful and delicious, and served in such a classy atmosphere. The staff are delightful, so friendly and warm you feel like family!
The decor is very interesting as you find an old world charm with splashes of oddity. The oddity being the fascinating portraits painted by Vincent him self of his regular customers back in the day.
Went there about a year ago and it was pretty good!
Had the veal and chicken and both were tasty. Service was great and the staff were friendly.
I said maybe to going again because although I liked it, something kinda made it not the best experience. Maybe I just didn't like the layout of the place or something. For sure worth a try though!

THE ATMOSPHERE IS ALL DARK WOOD AND DIM LIGHTING. KINDA REMINDS ME OF THE OLD SCOTT HOUSE BACK IN THE 80'S. DECOR IS SIMPLE AND APPEASING TO THE EYE. BUT THE REALLY GOOD STUFFF IS THE FOOD. THE FOOD OH LAWDY THE FOOD. I HAVE ATE HERE AT LEAST A DOZEN TIMES IN THE LAST 3 YEARS AND NEVER ONCE HAVE BEEN DISAPPOINTED. VEAL TO DIE FOR AND ORANGE ROUGHY FISH THAT IS SO FLAKEY AND TENDER. STAFF ARE SUPER GREAT AND ATTENTATIVE. NO JUDGING HERE OR SNOBBERY HERE. JUST GOOD FOOD IN A GREAT FAMILY PLACE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR A ROMANTIC DATE AS THE AMBIENCE CAN DEFINITLEY SET THE MOOD.

My husband and I have been visiting Vincent's Spot for well over 35 years. Even before we were married in 1976. We remember the first year it opened and Vincent served the meals! My husband raves that it is THE BEST STEAK anywhere and we have eaten all over the world, including the best resturants in Toronto and New York City. We feel like we are coming home to a great home cooked meal at a reasonable price. Love it, keep up the great work John and Helen.
We have been dining at Vincent's Spot for over 30 years. The owners Helen & John are warm and inviting. You're never a stranger at Vincent's! It is lovely restaurant to celebrate special occasions or to relax at after a hectic day. The food is wonderful and consistent. It is a Prix Fixe menu which includes yummy garlic bread, a clam appetizer, caesar salad, main course, dessert & coffee/tea. Nothing on the menu disappoints!
Why can't more restaurants be like Vincent's Spot? Good hearty food in generous portions, friendly and attentive service, and very reasonable prices. We love the Veal Villeroy and the garlic bread. It is very good value for the money, not to mention free parking in the grocery store lot across the street. My only caveat: Their house red wine is absolutely ghastly. Use the money you saved on the rest of the fabulous food to buy a label bottle of wine from the wine list. Everything else was exquisite and we'll be back soon.

I have visited this restaurant many times. It is my favorite for this price range. Vincent's Spot has a very romantic atmosphere. The meals are excellently priced offering(all inclusive)meals that are wonderfully prepared, taste excellent and served by very friendly and helpful staff.
We love this restaurant. My husband and I have been going there for years. They are very friendly, great prices for the quality of food. Nice atmoshpere.

Outstanding! You will not find a better meal in this city for this price! Entree was $19.99 and included garlic bread, ceasar salad, seafood in a clam shell, veal and desert. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere with great service.
