A Hidden Gem

In the village of St. George....... there exists a pub. It's old appearance adds much warmth, lots of character. I have not one thing bad to say about this fine establishment. I have been there many times over the last two years, there is something that this restaurant has which is very difficult to find. That is consistancy! 1. The servers are consistant 2. Kitchen is consistant 3. The bartender is...................consistant. The owner has no problem stepping up to the plate to assist as well! (rare to ever see). They know what they are doing over there, that is for sure, no confusion. Let me also add that their servers are strong and experienced. I have watched the pub completely fill up and there is never hesitation, there is a flow. Not only that, the employees always maintain a smile, showing no distractions of chaos. Their menu is great, you have a little bit of everthing. I must say that I will not eat chicken wings anywhere else, they are deadly! Crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside. You cannot go wrong with ordering fish and chips.......very tasty. Their gravy is by far the best I have ever had. Portion sizes are very reasonable and at reasonable prices. I keep on comming back for many reasons, service is the best, the wings are the best, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I very much appreciate a well run restaurant, considering I have worked as a server in a variety of dinning rooms over the last 15 years. Cheers to you guys! Very well done.

Have eaten here several times, mostly on the patio. Amazing food, as usual and really good prices! Tasty and not cheap looking. Great job chef! Tuesday night is .49 cent wing night...don't order too many though b/c you can't bring leftover wings home! It is a smaller establishment and so if you sit inside, there is no 'quiet' corner, it is usually quite full and with the TV's going and the bar..if you want a quiet night it might not suit. The patio is awesome and they have patio heaters for the cool evenings.....quieter out there too. Service was good but not outstanding. ie. not asking if we enjoy our meal, having to ask for more water, slow in clearing dishes etc. If the food was bad we would definitely not go back but the great food makes up for the mediocore service. BTW, order the nachos! Sooo much cheese and toppings, we actually ran out of chips! Imagine that?

Very relaxing atmosphere and excellent food. The food is always fast and very accomodating staff and very friendly. In the summer a nice patio to sit on. Would visit again for sure
