3 Co-workers and myself went here for lunch today and thought it would be nice to try something new.
Two other couples came in after us and they did not seem to receive prompt service either.
Two of my friends order the standard breakfast, another ordered the Egg Flo Burger and I ordered the Taco salad which was on the special board.
After 40 minutes we knew if we were going to eat this lunch hour we would need to leave and grab McDonald's on the way back to the office.
I told the waitress that I was sorry but we were going to have to leave as we were only on our lunch hour and no food was in site.
The two couples who entered after our table of 4 had been served food and we figured we just weren't going to eat any time this year.
The waitress professed that the food was being plated as she stood by our table and that it would be brought to our table in seconds. So we sat back down and waited another 5 minutes.
What was brought to us was not at all appetizing!
The 2 standard breakfasts had grease sitting on top of the eggs.
The bacon was barely cooked and the potatoes tasted like they have been sitting on the stove since 7 am when they opened.
The Eggs Flo burger was burnt and served with the same old potatoes that came with the standard breakfast.
The Taco salad was a DISGRACE. It consisted of Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, onions and some white sauce that we don't know what it was or want to. It had hunks of burnt hamburger (and I mean cook a hamburger and then chop it into pieces) and cheddar cheese in a taco shell that was in fact a flour tortilla that have been turned over a pot and burnt around the edges but not even warm on the bottom. This was served with watery sour cream and salsa. (didn't try the salsa not a fan)
The only thing that we did enjoy was the free Wi-Fi that you have to get a password to use.
Won't ever be back!
I went to this restaurant this morning, it was very clean looking. I had a meal which had three eggs over-easy, the eggs were not cooked properly. I had a cup of coffee and had to walk to the cash/cooking area in order to ask the waitress for a refill whom by the way was constantly texting on her phone while customers were in the restaurant. She was a nice girl I'm sure she didn't mean any harm but that was far from being professional. I doubt I will ever return to this restaurant unfortunately.
Decided to try the restaurant early on Sunday morning to beat the rush. I can honestly say that it was the worst breakfast I have ever been served. Badly burnt toast, burnt bacon and sausage, and the scrambled eggs were overcooked with fried burn marks. My gf's meal (poached eggs florentine) was worse - raw egg with a Hollandaise that was vinegar flavoured. We left most of the meal on our plates and when we were leaving, I explained to the server the problems with the meal. He politely listened - his service was fine, may I add. I will never return, and I have no idea how 2 cooks can burn so many simple dishes with only 5 customers in the house...absolute disgrace!
