The fish was very nice, prepared well but portions were small for the price. Was not impressed with the table and chairs, looks like a converted donut shop - felt quite crowded at the table.

Food was hot and well portioned. Service was fast and friendly. Table was clean. Ladies washroom was very dirty. Thank goodness I did not visit the facilities until after my meal. Ran next door to Timmy's where their facilities are well maintained. Joey's really needs to devote some time and energy to cleaning washroom; the conditions were NOT as a result of a busy day.

Can you say Shrinkage?

They claim that the Halibut is their largest fillet (it is the priciest). They are now serving meals on smaller plates and the fillet was a 3x3 inch wafer thin piece of fish. When I told the waitress how pathetic it was she suggested she could bring me more chips. Forget about telling management. I spoke to both the owners and all they could do was repeatedly state it was a franchise and the fault of the head office. Nothing they could do according to them. Funny, I thought business owners ran their business. Save your money and simply go down the street to Culpeppers. I will next time. .

Good seafood at a fair price

You have to keep telling your self its not a chain its not a chain . The fish is fresh and there is plenty of it . They offer the opportunity to add an extra piece of fish . The servers are fast friendly and efficient . I have become a regular there

Awesome place!

This place was an unexpected surprise! The fish was delicious and the service was great. The meals weren't overpriced and the atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. I would definitely go again!

Maybe its called Joey's Only because only he could like it. I hope no one has bought shares in this joint, NEY NEY its a bad thing. I'll try to be gentle, "TRAINING" get a grip people, this is supposed to be a restaurant how is it so difficult to grasp. Poor Service, questionable food, and scummy tables make for bad experience. I keep saying this again and again, either equip the staff with whips and chains to justify the abuse or get some one who knows what service is and fix it, I am surprised the doors are still open.

A group of us went for my Aunt's birthday. There was an "all you can eat" rib special which most of us ordered. When the ribs came, we each got a tiny serving that was quickly finished. We waited for a VERY long the next order. We asked our waitress why it was taking so long. She didn't say much, but soon came back with another small order of ribs that were frozen in the middle! When we told our waitress, she just shrugged and took them back to the kitchen. No discount to our bill was offered. We left feeling hungry and irritated.
