    Nice little optical

    Both husband and wife are really nice and are very knowledgeable. Always feel like i'm getting a steal of deal when I shop there. Nice little shop!

    Great buying experience with them

    Very good customer service. I called them on the phone to ask them about contact lenses and about different prices – they asked me to come in for the prices of glasses but otherwise were really open. So I went in on my lunch and was looking around. They have tons of selection for me, wide frame, big wide eyes…. So I found this nice frame that was made by BOSS. I actually remember seeing it before when I was looking for glasses and remember the frame being $350 alone, but when I asked them they said the frame price depends on what lenses you get, coverage, etc… so I ended up getting a full frame with lenses for about $450 since my insurance was covering most of it. I asked later when I picked it up how much were the frames and he said that it was about $275 with the lenses I had chosen. No word of a lie the same frames were quoted with lenses at $600 down the street ---- Ever since that experience I have been recommending this place.

    Great place!

    I’ve been going back to them since and have had people recommend me them in between again and again. They have a great reputation in the area and even further down south. I would highly recommend checking them out. Since 2001 I've purchased about 6 pairs of glasses from them and I love them. Especially when they will update my lenses to my new prescription each time for almost nothing just to have a spare pair! Great place!

    Hidden Gem

    I believe this is a hidden gem in Toronto. Most people havent heard of Economy and walk by it on a daily basis. it is at the corner of yonge and college tucked in there.. I stumbled on them a few years back thinking that I could get a good pair at a cheaper rate after going to a few bigger chains for years and having to pay out $300-400 each time on top of my insurance. I went in expecting something a bit less in price and maybe something less exclusive. What i got blew my mind and has had me recommending them for years to people who always ask me. I work for the government so we have insurance up to ($300) each two years and I added about $150 and got the same pair that i was quoted $750 at a bigger chain. The difference, literally, is in the quality of customer support . I must have gone back 5-10 times on lunches just wanting to tweak the fitting a bit here and there. I felt comfortable each time and cannot believe the level of support. I really recommend them. They take their time showing you tons of options, no pressure to buy anything and when you are their customer, you will be with them for a LONG time. I've met a few other people who have been going to Economy and they all say the same thing' would go anywhere else even if they paid me'.
