When your life is busy and you’re constantly on the go, but still want to make sure you eat healthy, Live Market is where you go. It’s the brainchild of Tara Thomson and siblings Jennifer and Christopher Italiano, a trio dedicated to bettering the eating habits of Torontonians. “It’s a simplified concept,” explains Jennifer. Instead of having to sit down at a table and wait for someone to take your order, then wait some more for the food to arrive, Live Market’s grab-and-go lets you browse their refrigerators and counters stocked with organic, plant-based, gluten and refined-sugar free wraps, salads and rice dishes, fill up on what you need, when you want. Jennifer, Christopher and Tara intentionally designed Live Market to be laidback and easygoing, which fits in perfectly with the trendiness of the surrounding Liberty Village neighbourhood.
