‘’I always loved photography," says Mark Anthony. ‘’When I came out of college, I apprenticed under a Toronto-based wedding photographer, who had one of the city’s biggest studios at the time. I followed him at his customers’ weddings, which were always fun experiences. Everyone was always in a great mood, dressed up nicely and the atmosphere was very intimate; I realized that I wanted to do wedding photography for a living, and it all fired up from there."
Following his calling, he opened Mark Anthony Studios in 1988. By 1990, Mark had to move out to a larger office to keep up with the demand for his services. Now located in Liberty Village, Mark and his colleagues make a living by immortalizing their clients' big moments.
To retain his position on the leading edge of event photography, Mark underwent additional training in 2008. ‘’I went to Europe to update some skills and make sure that our style and services are amongst the best in the industry,’’ he explains.
