Scary experience

Had the weirdest experience in my life. Asked a server for a glass of water and a spoon (for my medicine). He forgot, so 10 min later I asked again. A minute later, the owner showed up, and in a very threatening voice told me I could not request spoons. He refused to serve the food that I ordered and asked me to leave. All of it in a very aggressive manner. When I took out my phone, he yelled that I can leave any review, and he doesn't care. The situation was so bizarre, I m afraid to think what

I thought that the place had fresh products and they made the food in front of you. The sushi roll that I had was so fresh that it doesn't compare to other sushi places. The only problem is it is kindof hidden but if you find it, it's a place you'll enjoy.

I went with a group of friends who usually dont go for sushi very often, but after this experience, they were willing to give sushi another try. The prices are excellent along with the friendly service. Avoid the hectic lunch hours because you will see customers lined up straight out the door. Although the restaurant is fairly small, it is exciting to see the rush and the fast movements of the chefs in the open kitchen. I rocommend this place for anyone who wants to enjoy good Korean bbq and fresh sushi at very reasonable! prices.

If you’re in or around Chinatown: Salmon Lovers. In fact, this cute spot is not actually in Chinatown, but kitty corner to the AGO (so, close enough). Although the name might suggest a partiality toward salmon, the menu carries all the likely sushi suspects, from steaming agedashi tofu, to artfully prepared avocado unagi rolls. The butterfish sashimi is delicate and always fresh, while the crispy salmon shrimp roll, served warm, is most definitely a must-order.
