Pleasantly surprised

Well, here's a place that does a great fish and chips even though it's not their specialty, the kind of place I have been searching for since, well, a long time ago. The chips are excellent too, definitely cut and fried on the premises, no frozen stuff here. The waitress was quick to warn us that due to a large private function upstairs the service was going to be a bit slow, she was correct but we won't hold that against them. My wife and my daughter were also pleased with their orders, and we left fully satisfied.

The food was excellent both in quality and quantity!You certainly get what you pay for! The staff was caring and friendly, efficient and fun to be around. I would've preferred more of a selection on the menu...what pub doesn't serve french onion soup? However, what we had was very tasty. We would definitely return.

Wow what a place. Went last Saturday for their Brewmasters Dinner and was blown away. The food, the service and the beer were all immaculate and impressive! I recommend "The Hobby" to everyone.
