They have authentic HK food. Very good prices. The severs are very courteous and friendly, and the owner(chef) very nice too. The place is small with an a great atmosphere. Delicious food.
Horrible worst food I've ever bought couldn't eat more than two bites, when i went to complain she either didn't understand or didn't care instead she kept asking me what I wanted to order. As the only white person at the plce at the tjme I can't help but feel racial prejudice everybody else got tasty looking food while I was served a small disgusting portion my pork was all fat the rice undercooked and the vegetables stale soggy and not cut up
If u r looking for cheap lunch and fast fulfilling Chinese food, this is the place. Own by husband and wife. Husband is the cook and wife is the server. The place need update. I always ordered take out. I cannot eat in there. very small and very cold in winter.
Just not appetizing sitting in there.
The food here is quite delicious and the couple who own it are charming. But every dish (except Side Orders) is just a sprinkling of what you order on top of an almost full container of rice (or noodles). We needed 2 dishes per person to get enough non-starchy food. This makes the dishes very expensive. I am used to getting a full container of food which can be shared by 2 or 3 people, with one serving of rice. This restaurant is good for young guys who want to fill up on rice, and don't need to worry about all those carbs. We threw most of the rice in the garbage.
For the price, the food in this restaurant is exceptional. It is real authentic chinese food, and the portions are great. The restaurant does not look like much going in, but the food will surprise you. It is not somewhere I would go on a date, but when I'm really craving chinese food this is a restaurant I will definately return to
The food here is great, but it could use some decor and cleaning up. We ordered Portuguese curry chicken and a beef tendon noodles. It tasted just like ones you would get from restaurants in Toronto/Markham.
The lady there is also really nice, and great service
Ordered the Chicken Chow Mein lunch special. WOW. Great taste, included a soup and enough to feed two! Place does not look like much from the outside but is very clean inside. Service was super fast. Better food, faster and less expensive than the take out in Conestoga Mall. Will definitely go again.
This is the hidden gem in Waterloo. The food is authentic and tasty. The prices are good. Not that this place is perfect. The decor is non-existent and the menu needs work. There is over-emphasis on noodle and rice dishes. Also, I seem to recall that they only take cash. However, I have no complaints about the food.

We ordered the eggplant rice dish with XO sauce and it was PERFECT! The stuff it's fresh and tasty, and the waitress is warm and friendly...The chef is also very accommodating to slight variations of the dishes according to my preference (I can't take food that is too spicy)...excellent place.

We went there for dinner after read the reviews online. Somewhat disappointed when we saw the restaurant(very small), but still went in. We ordered the most expensive dishes they have on the menu, but don't worry that each dish only costs less than 15dollars.
Overall, the food was O.K. taste compare to some other restaurants we went in the Chinatown. The price is very reasonable. The cashier was nice.
However, they ONLY accept the cash. Instead of background music, they had argument(very loud voice) from kitchen going on and on through entire dinner time.

im chinese myself so i know which restaurants are authentic chinese foods...i love going there just for the special dish and cold milk tea..the service is really fast so it's good to go during lunch breaks.the prices are reasonable. im a regular there..although id rather they close on a weekday than on a saturday though!
Its a great place if u just want to full ur stomach cuz the food is plentiful and good. Its not a restaurant to take ur date but to take ur buddies. I always eat there w/ my buddies.
The atmosphere is a bit divey (cracked teapots, arguing in the kitchen, lots of menus in handwritten cantonese (?) on the walls. However, don't let this turn you away; the food is quite good (if heavy on the many varieties of mushrooms), very well priced, and the service is quick. the service gets a lower mark because the hostess was difficult to understand with my english-only ears.

And the hostess even asked the cook not to make my stir fry too spicy since I like black bean sauce,but do not do well with overly spicy food. Food was hot and fresh, had leftovers for the next day. YUM.
And Cheap too.
