Can't beat the location, the taste, the service and it's oh so healthy for you - you want an awesome filling meal with flavor - this is the place for you, it's so delicious its hard to believe how healthy it actually is. We walk over from our home in North Whitby in order to double our health benefit. Highly recommended.
So glad I tried this place. My friend and I went and were pleasantly surprised about how welcoming the staff were to customizing meals. They were pleasant and definitely accomodating. The food was delicious. We had delicious spring rolls, coconut curry and chinese noodles....and the amaizng chocolate cake for dessert...yum yum! The prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes were large. Overall, I would definitely return.
The banner on the Garden St. side, indicating a vegetarian restaurant, pulled us in on our way to Mucho Burrito, north of there. And boy...am I glad we took the chance! It's not vegetarian, but vegan (with vegetarian options). Yes! VEGAN!! Can it be?!? Right here in Whitby?!?!? From the moment we walked in, I felt right at home. The owner greeted us warmly, and explained the menu, while encouraging us to customize our orders. Food on my first visit was great, and I can't wait to return to try everything! Wahoo! Awesome! Vegan! Great!!
This is by far my favourite restaurant. The food is absolutely fantastic, the owner an extremely nice, friendly, helpful man. If I could give this restaurant six stars, I would. The atmosphere is great and suitable for any type of occasion be it family, date, casual, or business. The portions are very generous and the prices reasonable. I very highly recommend this fantastic vegetarian (and Celiac friendly!) restaurant.
I was a bit skeptical at first about the Jasmine Garden- the menu sounds a bit bland. We drove by for about a year before going in! Then last night on a whim my husband and I figured we might as well check it out. It is liquor licensed, after all! We were blown away by how good the food was. It was such a pleasant surprise! The apps were terrific (fresh spring rolls and mango salad), and the entrees were decent as well. (the curry was better than the chinese noodles, however). The dessert (vegan friendly!) was phenomenal! So delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others- even if they are not vegetarian. The atmosphere was lively but not too fancy. Perfect for a get-together place. Overall- very yum! Will visit again.
GREAT! Will be going back FOR SURE. Lovely people, great food and healthy! Finally - a healthy, tasty restaurant for those sick of the boring, run of the mill chains. Meals are custom made to your liking...I got my meal with extra onions and my husband got his "stupid spicy"....made just too our liking! Fun atmosphere, great family restaurant, vegan and gluten free menu. YUM
Finally a vegetarian restaurant in Whitby ... and an incredible one at that! The restaurant itself is tucked away in a small plaza but don't let that fool you. My husband and I popped in because it's close to home and we're so happy we did. Inside we were met by the owners (lovely people) and even though we were getting take out, we were treated as valued customers. The food is made fresh while you wait ... the smells were fantastic! When we got home with the food, we were in heaven. After living in TO for years and being accustomed to so many different flavours and ways of cooking things, we were delighted. Please visit this restaurant so it stays!!!
