Always a good time... year after year

If you haven't been to Granby Zoo since you were a kid, it's time to go back! Every year, they add new paviliions and attractions, there's enough action to occupy you for 2 full days. The hippo tank is so impressive, we returned several times to view the majestic beasts float to the surface, then dive back to the bottom of the pool. Beautiful! A bit pricy, but purchase the 2-day pass and it's well worth returning.

How to enjoy Spring Break in Montreal

Located about an hour away from Montreal, the most popular zoo for summertime fun is also open every weekend throughout the winter – and for the whole week of Spring Break. The waterpark may be closed but there are still loads of animals to see and much to learn about them. Lions, tigers, and bears, (oh my!) can be observed in their wintery habitat. Plus, local tour guides can teach your family a ton of cool fun facts about them all.
