Meet the owner

The founders of Paris Crêpe on Crescent Street noticed something missing from the stretch of businesses and restaurants in a neighbouring area: chocolate. After the success of their first restaurant, they’d become interested in cacao culture and felt a comfortable spot that showcased chocolate would be a welcome addition to the corner. Cacao 70 opened in October 2011 to the delight of chocolate lovers looking for a new neighbourhood sweet spot.

“Everyone loves chocolate,” says Alejandro Vera, Cacao 70’s general manager. Indeed, the spot sees people of every age and  walk of life who come for the pleasant atmosphere and shockingly delicious menu. “We wanted to create a place where people could share great moments over great chocolate in a nice, relaxing atmosphere.” The founders were onto something because Cacao 70 quickly fills up on any given day.

    Dripping sweet chocolate

This is the place if you are craving for some deserts. The amount of creativity is impressive. From basic crepes to a mouthful of fondues, the menu offers a huge varieties of chocolate that you would never think of. The restaurant is always full, especially on weekend night, so be warned: there will be a waiting in line, but it's all worth it. The decoration looks nice, with a few nice touch of a "medieval" look. Also, the portion is massive so your belly will easily be full. P.S: So much sugar!
