Meet the owner

Miso Restaurant opened its doors in 2004 on the corner of Sainte-Catherine Street and Atwater on the border of Montreal and Westmount. Since then, the restaurant has developed a devoted following of locals, thanks to its easy-to-remember name that pays homage to the famous miso soup — and of course, its deliciously prepared food.

After his son had opened a Japanese restaurant,  Mr. Ly decided to follow suit and opened Miso. He says back then it was difficult to find a good quality sushi restaurant in the neighbourhood so he took it upon himself to fill the void.

Very Fresh sushi

I am from Vancouver. We have a lot of japanese restaurant where I live. I visit Montreal at least once every year because my friends are here. Every time I crave sushi in Montreal, Miso is where I go to. Their sushi is so fresh and their food tasty. This is also one of the rare japanese restaurant with a Japanese sushi chef.

Never go that place against

I went there with my friends, this is the nasty Japanese food ever! It is so unbelievable, the food is very little, but not tasty and expansive. God, why its still open?
