Edulis is amazing. The only thing disappointing for me is when dinner is over. The food is phenomenal, the service is warm and friendly, and the space is comfortable and unpretentious. I have been to Lousiana last Summer and left with a bad experiance and thought of not going back again.. since all my friends forced me to go i went with them really I felt the difference comparing to my last vist.. its been newly renovated and a beautiful patio to relax and have a beer to chill out with friends. Staff really friendly and they have variety of food menu to decide on. They have a plate called land and sea which comes with lobster, Steak and shrimps which really value for money and good quality i was really impressed with the servise provided and i spoke to the Manager of Lousiana he told me how this was earlier and the new management is really working on with food quiality and provide great customer service... If you're looking for fine dining with great service and a relaxing atmosphere in Toronto, you'll need to look up to the sky and search for Canoe. Food: The menu is simple yet it's high quality and well prepared dishes with great wine and drinks pairing. We decided to go with an app, an entree, and dessert - although the dishes didn't surprise us, they still met our expectations of high quality. The real treats were the Oyster Boy's Finest and Pan Seared Quebec Foie Gras, each being a great start to our meal. Although it was great, it didn't end with a bang. The meal kept its pace right through to dessert. Service: The wait staff were very attentive and accomodating. Our server was attentive to our needs, and was engaged without being too involved in our dining experience. I was impressed by the service from everyone this evening! Atmosphere: I would definitely recommend trying to reserve a table by the window. The place is beautiful with the simple and modern decor, though the view of the city is an added bonus to your meal. It's definitely worth the visit if you're looking to dine in the sky with a great meal, but be prepared to empty out your wallet, because this place isn't cheap. Read more
