I remember coming here in the early 1990s and loved it then. It still has one of the best burgers in town, especially the homemade burger. They serve beer and have a TV as well. I watched the hockey playoffs while having my food. Great food, excellent customer service and hope they do not renovate as I love the classic diner look! If you have never been here, it is a must! God bless. Read more

Made a reservation online, probably a good idea, heard it was a busy spot. We were late for our reservation but they honored it. And it was packed.
I had the special, can't remember the type of beef but it was one of the best hamburgers I've ever had, and the poutine was also amazing.
My girl had the turkey burger and sweet potato fries and she loved it.
We also had the Pickle Fries (good) as a starter and two pints of beer, bill with tip was around $80.
Its expensive, but enjoyable and delicious.Read more

We usually get the vege combo with chicken shawarma, with a small side of chicken shawarma.
Instead of the tabuleh and falafel, we get labenah.

I first went to this restaurant when I was maybe 11 or 12 (I am 17 now). Needless to say, I have gone back many times a year since. It is such a treat to go to this restaurant, as I don`t get to have Chinese food often, and to me, eating it here is the best thing to do. I am always amazed at how good the food tastes, and at the speed in which it is brought to our table. Usually I am finishing up my appetizer when the main course is brought out. I am going back in a few days and can hardly wait. Keep it up, Szechuan Gourmet!Read more

I’ve been to Dog and Bear many times. It’s a traditional British style pub. It’s laid back and chill, not a place for an event but definitely a place to hang out with the friends and grab some pints. Football(soccer) lovers as owners the screens always have good matches on during the season. If you are there on a day where west Ham and Man U go head to head you will likely see the rivalry as friends and supporters pile in and sit in separate sections of the bar to cheer for their teams. We've been to the Granite Brewery a number of times as the food is always fantastic with generous portions. In addition to the delicious food, they have a good selection of their own brews. We especially enjoyed their Ringwood, a delightful blonde.
There are different atmospheres for different tastes, but at the Granite Brewery they have several to choose from. Two excellent patios, a bar, and a family restaurant area, all designed for comfort. The rear patio looks particularly amazing, but as it was raining, we'll just have to wait until next time to try it out. It should also be noted that the Granite Brewery has free parking with easy access. The Granite Brewery gets our highest recommendation and we will be back soon.Read more

I first visited Allen's back in the 80's, not long after it opened, and I was instantly smitten. So much so, in fact that I moved into the neighbourhood! First I was a regular, then a nuisance, and finally a piece of furniture. I finally moved back to Markham in 1998, and cannot justify going anywhere south of Steeles Avenue without stopping into Allen's for lunch. The food is imaginative, superbly prepared, and so delicious, that even when I'm full, I often look at the menu again, just to see what I'll be ordering on my next visit!
And the patio? Don't get me started......Read more
