Made a reservation online, probably a good idea, heard it was a busy spot. We were late for our reservation but they honored it. And it was packed. I had the special, can't remember the type of beef but it was one of the best hamburgers I've ever had, and the poutine was also amazing. My girl had the turkey burger and sweet potato fries and she loved it. We also had the Pickle Fries (good) as a starter and two pints of beer, bill with tip was around $80. Really like this place and have been here on several occasions, last month most recently. Very solid menu, very consistently prepared and served. I am a particular fan of their risotto. Seriously, best restaurant i have been to! Donatello on Elm in Toronto - the service was sooo good - made very special by our knowlwedgable server! The food - sublime! I highly recommend it! We've been to the Granite Brewery a number of times as the food is always fantastic with generous portions. In addition to the delicious food, they have a good selection of their own brews. We especially enjoyed their Ringwood, a delightful blonde. There are different atmospheres for different tastes, but at the Granite Brewery they have several to choose from. Two excellent patios, a bar, and a family restaurant area, all designed for comfort. The rear patio looks particularly amazing, but as it was raining, we'll just have to wait until next time to try it out. It should also be noted that the Granite Brewery has free parking with easy access. The Granite Brewery gets our highest recommendation and we will be back soon. Read more
