After a friend had gotten her hair done in the area, we asked about a good place for a simple lunch and they recommended Memories. We got there at noon on a Tuesday and there were a few customers there enjoying huge salads and sandwhiches. We had a lovely hot and flavourful squash soup, a huge veggie sandwhich on toasted grain bread with herbed cheese, pesto, lettuce and cucumber and a chicken quesadilla . All very fresh and nicely presented. Water was brought without having to ask for it. The menu catered well to vegetarians as well although it wasn't large. The pies and cakes in the counter were huge-too stuffed to give them a try. A good place for an afternoon dessert/coffee. Also serve a weekend breakfast. Service was very good. Prices reasonable. I have been to Oz many times since it opened and I am never disappointed! The lychee martinis are what brings me in, but the food is really delicious as well. The cheese plate is great for snacks...often I go with a group of people and we just order a bunch of plates to share (edamame another one of our favourites).
