The Capilano Suspension Bridge is great family fun. The central part of this attraction is of course the bridge itself. 80 metres above the Capilano River it is often gut-check time to head out on the bridge and take a look over the side as it sways with the other visitors or, worse, the breeze. There isn't much to worry about but it is an exhilarating experience nonetheless. Beyond the bridge there is another equally exhilarating experience in the Treetops Adventure. Picture being high above the forest floor and going from tree to tree on a series of suspension bridges and getting to rest on platforms attached to the trees. Very cool. They have a great gift shop and lots of opportunities to learn about the history of the bridge and the first nations history in the area. A great deal for local residents too is that you can buy an unlimited membership good for a year for the same price as regular admission. Read more

I recently celebrated my birthday at a restaurant, and I must say the server was outstanding - knowledgeable, polite, and attentive. The rest of the staff were equally friendly. The food was excellent; we opted for the Dine-Out menu, and the recommended drinks paired perfectly. I'll definitely be returning for another visit. I don't normally write reviews but in this case it was well deserved. My wife and I ate at this restaurant and like most were blown away by the customer service we received. They greeted us first by opening the door for us, checked on us during our meal to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, and thanked us at the end for coming and opened the door for us when we were done. I honestly felt like I was in a small town restaurant and cannot say enough good things about this A & W. Read more
