We had a lovely table by the window so we had a nice view. Overall ambience is very bright and contemporary. To our benefit the restaurant was not that busy on a weeknight and we parked very close. The service was very good. We enjoyed their daily flatbread special and crab cakes to start. For our mains we went with halibut and osso bucco, both too were very good and cooked just right. Hate the wait but love the food. If you come at 10pm on a Saturday still a 10 minutes wait. I have been here a couple of times before and always excellent. The meatballs in tomato sauce just amazing. We had the zucchini and rabbit pasta dishes and both so good. Cooked just al dente, good amount of flavour and just enough coating of sauce. Very good selection of by glass or bottle wines. Awesome Asian fusion brunch with Filipino and Vietnamese influences. It was so good that I did not even notice my potato hash had no meat! It was comprised of a unique combo of ingredients including chick peas,l and sweet potato. I tried a bite of the breakfast Vietnamese bun and that was tasty too. There are 8 seats in the patio, not the best view as you see the viaduct but when it is sunny and warm it was just right. The service was friendly and excellent. Several spritzers available too. Dr. Maru is excellent! My first visit he automatically took the time to go over my x-rays and dental history with me. I came back to have some scarring left over from my wisdom teeth removed, I was in and out in 15 minutes, AND he called the next day to check up on me - not a receptionist, him. The level of care provided at Surrey Place Dental Group at Central City Shopping Mall is excellent! I am a very happy patient. I highly recommend for everyone here, especially Dr. Maru. Read more
