The Congee Star is some of the best Chinese food in Don Mills. For lunch, this place is a zoo! Come early or come late but DON'T come at 12 o'clock and expect a table right away unless you are Jet Li or Jacky Chan. The reason for this is the food is very good. By supper, the office crowd has retreated to the 'burbs from whence they came and getting a table right away is not a problem. Remember though, this is not a fast food factory, good food takes a little time. The beef with ginger and onions is excellent. As is the Cantonese chow mein.
