Main dishes were Rack of lamb,Filet mignon,Dover sole,and Prime Rib,We also had a bottle of red shiraz that the server recommended for 39.95 that was a great complimant to our meals,I myself had the Dover sole and my wife the filet, All of our meals were very good, The vegetables were ok a bit bland,the baked and mashed potatos were good, The servers were around when needed and did look after us through our evening, We did not have any dessert just some coffee and tea, Our friends have beev raving about this place to all there friends and made it a point to tell us when ever they visit us we will be going to the David Duncan House , In my opinion the reataurant was great, Not over priced a good meal and experienced servers, It is a dining room from the past era that has been around for a long time so I guess they are donig something right, My wife and I will be visiting again soon as we enjoyed our eveing with our friends, Read more

Based on other online reviews, the Pantheon is arguably the best Greek restaurant in Greek Town, Toronto. We made reservations ahead of time, had the much reviewed and loved Saganaki, which they light up at your table and the chicken souvlaki; the large and small portions. The chicken was ridiculously good, the potatoes were incredible and the rice was fantastic. With two greek beers and a red wine, our bill totaled $65. It was a good experience, we will return again. Our absolute favourite for authentic italian. You know the restaurant is a gem when the local Italians eat there with their whole families (babies too!). As Marcello's is always packed, go early to get a seat (especially if your party is larger than 4) or expect to wait in line at least 30 minutes or longer. Service is prompt when seated and the lively atmosphere makes it very homey. The waiters are efficient, no-nonsense and definitely not snobby(as in other places), and they know the menus. On regular nights we share an appetizer, and dessert with our meals and we are stuffed!! The tirimisu is home made and heavenly; you could easily have seconds. I have been to other restaurants on College street, and quite honestly, at Marcello's the dishes are on par and above on quality. Most reviews rate the restaurant by atmosphere, portion size, price and service. These independent restaurant reviewers have no one to please but their finicky tastes.
  • The concierge always knows: If you are travelling in -e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e, your hotel’s concierge or hotel staff will be able to find restaurants that suit your taste buds and budget. Are you looking for something ethnic, local or for a fine dining experience?
