I absolutely love to eat out, and do it a great deal. I have eaten at many fine dining restaurants throughout Ottawa. Over the last two years, each time I go out, I realize I cannot top this moxies. The food may not be considered fine dining, but it is very good. What makes up for it is the service. The staff at this location are fabulous. Best of the Best, Taj hits the spot!! We have take out each time and the delivery is exceptionally fast. Food is packed perfectly and very clean. One bad weather night, we got a craving for Taj food. My one complaint (perhaps more of an observance, really) relates to how noisy it can get with a full house. Probably you'll say bahhh 10/10 on the food rating? But I have to admit that I was suprised myself. The food is great! You can order from a burger to a filet mignon or even a shrimp salad. They have a great and variety menu. The best thing is the daily special, always a choice of 3 entrées and you can add a desert for about a dollars. Bad side: It's a bit small, and towner are use to eat there, so be patient and take a deap breath before entering. Windows are tinted and light is deap. They also have a secret fried chicken recipe and gravy. I've ask them the recipe several time with no luck. So you will have to try it out to understand why they keap it as a secret. By being on the road a lot, I've tried a lot, I mean a lot of restaurants, and believe me this is a must! Enjoy! Read more
