We went there for nice dinner during winterlisious 2012. Overall restaurant is very busy but cozy and romantic. Our server was running around in hurry and as a result during entire evening mixed up who ordered what, since it was only two of us it was ok to switch. Food Overall was very good: My appetizer was yumm and so is my the other person, soft deep fried calamari was excellent. Chicken skewers were moist and sauce was perfectly spicy. For the main dish disappointment arrived, all main dishes come with rice and stir fry. Stir fry was the WORST I have ever tried, super hard giant pieces of cabbage+ raw zucchini made it unpleasant both on taste and texture. Main dish of red curry was excellent and rice was perfectly done. Basil beef was amazing (properly the softest piece of beef I have ever tried in my life). Desserts were good too my mango-chocolate mousse cake was heavenly and banana fritter had amazing crunchy but sweet coating on it . Read more

A bit pricey, but really a wonderful experience overall. One thing to note is the two-hour limit on dining, which is best to know about in advance. Mila was my contact and she was AMAZING. Food was absolutely delicious! I had several guests with a diverse array of dietary restrictions (including vegetarian and no pork). I've been to Pomegranate and its twin brother Sheherzade many times with different people. The place is simply amazing. They serve a very authentic Persian food made out of organic ingredients - it simply tastes like heaven! The atmosphere is very special too. You feel like you are in a museum. The walls and the tables are filled with hand-made art and old Iranian photographs so it makes you want to learn more about the ancient Iranian culture. Due to lack of time we missed out planning for lunch but thanks to my ‘Opentable’ app Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Chicken Parmigianino, Spring Lamb with red wine that I found Carmelina Restaurant in Woodbine Avenue. Their event catering service for lunch & evening snacks made me & my team proud on my decision. I wonder how I missed looking this food place for last many years.
