I love this place. My collegues and I used to eat lunch there at least three times a week - it was right in the building where we worked. The selection of pasta is amazing and they always made sure to have a fair selection of vegetarian dishes for one of my girlfriends. Happy to find an intimate and cozy restaurant with great food in my neighbourhood. Didn't know the restaurant was there as it opened recently.. There used to be a dirty bar at the location before so I'm happy to have lost that eye sore in the neighbourhood :) I already loved grilled Portuguese chicken but "ADL's" chicken is CRAZY good!! Very nicely grilled and had a rustic taste.. must of been the added bonus of being grilled on charcoal grill. Parisiene Potatoes were absolutely AMAZING!! Great service.. Literally service with a smile from mother and daughter duo that run the restaurant. I am already a regular customer.. I've been back every week since my first visit.. Not only for the chicken.. Senhora Palmira really knows how to cook just like my nana.. If you're ever in the neighbourhood I would definately drop in for a quick bite! Read more

this is the first time i have ever decided to try out the actual authentic korean BBQ grilling experience instead of the canadian-nized all-you-can grill buffets and ohhh boy was it the best choice of my life! this place is not all you can eat so you only have a choice from eating one type of meat or the other but oh my gooodness, the meat here was sooo tender and juicy with sooooo much flavour to them! i swear to you this place serves up the best Galbi (beef short ribs) i have ever eaten and i'm sooo upset i didn't know about it soooner!! the Galbi here is ACTUAL MEAT, not the blubber stick of fat you'd find at other restaurants! the special grilling dish costs about $40 between 2 people (so basically $20 each) and it is sooo worth it as the portions are sooo huge along with all those side dishes they give you (more than 5! which can be refilled whenever you want) with also a hot stone tofu soup on the side. this place will give you a run for your money! serving on the menu says only for 2 people but can definetly serve up to 4! there was so much stuff left over to eat but in the end i wasn't able to finish it. :( so if you're ever craving for real korean meat, come here! this place realizes QUALITY over QUAINTITY. yum! I love La Paloma! I have been there so many times, and everytime I go, I love it even more. I have visited the location in Vaughan several times, but have yet to visit the Toronto location. The gelato is one the best I have ever tasted! There are so many flavours to choose from and the cups are always packed to the brim with ice cream. They also allow you to taste different flavours before settling on the one you want. The decor of the place is great as well, very spacious! This place is overpriced for what you get. My friend and I shared a light dinner, a glass of wine each and tea, and our bill (with tip and tax) came to $100. I ordered the gnocci in tomato sauce, which was very good, and the bread was tasty. But for a meatless meal with no dessert and no appetizer, the prices are too high. It seems like you're paying for atmosphere. The service was pretty good, but at the end when it got busier we had to signal for service. I think there's better value out there for the money. Seemed like a lot of people there could "expense" their dinners, which explains the crowd. Read more

Thank goodness I was on guest list so I didn't have to pay cover!! I was surprised at the lack of lineup at the door but I guess it was because I was relatively earlier than the regular hr that everyone else shows up (although i don't consider 11:20pm that early to go clubbing) but I heard that it gets busy after 12, which was in fact, quite true. So when I got inside, there weren't a lot of people and when i looked up to the overhanging balconies, ceiling and walls, i felt like i could really imagine it from its courthouse days. It makes the experience more unique but also a bit thought provoking. Granted i was completely sober at that point but even as the night wore on, the crowd was great, DJ and guest drummer played my fav mainstream hits and the bartenders were friendly. I had a blast!! My husband and I brought our 3 year old granddaughter to The Bull for an early supper. Her favourite is mac and cheese and the one at The Bull was one of the best that we have ever had at a restaurant. Her child portion was large enough for suppper with some leftovers for lunch the next day. My husband and I ordered the Bangalor Cod and the Shepherds Pie.Both were beautifully serve, delicious and plentiful. Kudos to the chef!! Staff was friendly and accommodating.
