Happy to find an intimate and cozy restaurant with great food in my neighbourhood. Didn't know the restaurant was there as it opened recently.. There used to be a dirty bar at the location before so I'm happy to have lost that eye sore in the neighbourhood :) I already loved grilled Portuguese chicken but "ADL's" chicken is CRAZY good!! Very nicely grilled and had a rustic taste.. must of been the added bonus of being grilled on charcoal grill. Parisiene Potatoes were absolutely AMAZING!! Great service.. Literally service with a smile from mother and daughter duo that run the restaurant. I am already a regular customer.. I've been back every week since my first visit.. Not only for the chicken.. Senhora Palmira really knows how to cook just like my nana.. If you're ever in the neighbourhood I would definately drop in for a quick bite! Read more

I know there were issues with this place but over the last month management seem to have made a real effort to get things sorted out with a new bar person and new staff and a manager that now walks the floor to make sure everything is running smoothly. Today we were served by Erika (2nd day on the job). She took the order and we were delivered exactly as requested - food piping hot, extra sauces the full works. When you go to chain restaurant, you often get apathy, slow service, and usually something below par. In this case, I was pleasantly surprised. First off, when we were seated, they did the server's name in crayon as many chains do, but also pointed out where the washrooms are and told us explicitly that we could ask any server for anything if she was not visible. The chocolate milkshake was loved by my daughter, and was nice and thick with the extra that didnt make the glass served in the stainless stell container it was made in. We were getting worried about service when our brushetta bread took so long, but the server showed up, and apologized for the delay telling us the original order was not up to par, so they remade it, and because of the delay, it was on the house. WOW - free food and I didnt have to complain at all. The chicken fajita was served sizzling hot and the wings were very good. The atmosphere is typical for a bar and grill, targetting the younger crowd. The staff all wore blue t-shirts with cheeky slogans such as "Please tip well - i know that's not your wife" and the servers are selected for certain assets that goes well beyond statistical coincidence. I would go back with the guys, or a business client, but not really a family place, but the food was very good, service was excellent, and little things like stocking diet redbull as well as the regular blue can, made it a great place to eat.
