This place was recommended to us by friends who said it was good thai food and they were absolutely correct! My wife popped by after getting off the GO train and ordered 2 take out dishes. She said she was greeted warmly by a young man who also went back to cook the food fresh! The service was fast and the food was delicious! Actually, it was the best tasting pad thai I have ever had! At other places, the flavour and colouring is consistent with catsup and I never enjoyed pad thai that much becuase of this. This pad thai had a lot of flavour. The sauce was rich and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The chicken dish we had was equally as good. The portions were plentiful enough that we had leftovers for lunch the next day! I am definitely going to order from there again...sooner than later! Read more

The first time I went here I was quite disappointed with my dinner. It lacked flavour and the parts that did have flavour were far too spicy. After waiting several months I ordered take out with my friend last week and was pleasantly surprised. This time the food had much more flavour and the spices were at just the right level so that they enhanced the flavours rather than obscure them. I will definitely go back from now on. Read more

I have been visiting Sushi Mountain for just over 2 years now and I have never had fresher sushi anywhere in Toronto. My husband and I love going for their all you can eat option, which at other places usually isn't so great. I find the white tuna at SM to be some of the best I've ever had (I was very disappointed with my experience in Yorkville after visitng SM). Their tempura has always been fresh and crisp, the handrolls are usually packed with fresh fish and their sushi and sashimi are always freshly made and really flavourful. I've never experienced some of the things that other reviewers have mentioned like bad mayo, etc... The restaurant is usually very quiet even when it is packed with people. The service is fine and the restaurant is typically very clean. There is lots of parking as it is in a strip mall and usually no line up. I would definitely recommend trying this place if you haven't yet. Read more
