Last week, we decided to eat at Teatro Restaurant in Toronto. The weather was fantastic so we sat on the patio. We started with their asparagus bruschetta and the mashed potatoes and artichokes! They were fantastic! I personally was impressed with the presentation. For the main dish, I had their Lobster Cavatelli! Oh wow! It was superb!! I crave it right now and will definitely go back for encore. My only problem is that I want to try the other dishes that both my husband and daughter had and were very pleased. I guess I'll just have to pay them a few more visits. Make sure when you go to save room for their desert. The dark chocolate torta was my favorite. Also enjoy the good humor of their chef! I've been to Brownstone's several times now, and it's always a good experience. Friendly staff, and good food. Their brunch gets busy on Sundays, and deservedly so, but we were able to make a reservation the night before for our not-so-small party. The banana and Nutella pancakes were delicious, but topped with syrup, were a bit rich for my delicate stomach. Good fresh orange juice. The decor is lively and interesting, though sitting near the front door can be drafty in cool weather. Read more
