Definitely the best bar / restaurant in the area. Great Patio in the back and very cozy atmosphere inside. This is a designated heritage building and there are old pictures of the area on the walls which is a nice touch. The food is great and it's a mix of Italian, Mexican, American. What I like most is the open kitchen. The food is prepped in the open! It's a refreshing change from almost all other restaurants that prep food behind closed doors (makes you wonder what's really crawling in the kitchen). The Bar has good selection on tap and there is a comfortable lounging area in the back by the fireplace as well. If you are looking for something in this area, I would definitely recommend going here. Read more

We just finished up with our first time ever Thursday night steak dinner. Wow! Truly tender and full of that beef flavour we are all looking for. The value you get for half the price as the big players like the kegs. We are playing our next evening out to see if this was a one time perfect steak. i went to the midtown on saturday and we (birthday party 0f 34 ppl) had such an amazing time that i had to write a review. I don't uderstand what the last reviewer could complain about. The food was really fresh and you have to try their pizzas-amazing! The service was great and the door staff were so nice that they escorted all our party from the street and righ into the front door. always love their dj too! midtown is always a good time. i recommend it if you want good food and a great time without the club shi-shi-ness. sorry for the long review...but the midtown rocks!
