Stong's is another example of what a grocery store should be. Mostly food, lots of quality produce and fresh bakery and butcher selection and great service. I gather at one time there were several of these stores in the Lower Mainland and this store is the last of their kind. Thank goodness. A great place to buy all kinds of staples and also some hard to find items that aren't carried at major chains. Stong's is what the neighbourhood supermarket should be and their constant stream of customers is a testament to the quality and excellent customer service on offer. Read more

A special thank you to Breanne D who has made my life so much easier these past two months with issues I have had regarding my mother's prescriptions. She has definitely gone above and beyond, especially when she pointed out to us that she could not in good conscience fill one of the prescriptions without talking to my mother's doctor...who ended up lowering the dosage as per her suggestion. What a pleasure to deal with Mohamed as he is always smiling and treats you like a friend instead of a customer. He always has time to listen to your concerns and tries to find solutions. I much prefer his personal touch to that of the larger drug stores in the Western Communities. Also, I discovered today that he is authorized to. give you the vaccinations which are required for travel to foreign countries. This saves the considerable expense of going to a Travel Clinic.
