Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. This small place does it right! The food is absolutely excellent, and the wait staff are very helpful with a great attitude. Everyone in our party of six loved their dinners at Positano, plus the price was right, the service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. Being able to bring our own wine was a nice bonus and lessens the impact on the wallet. The other nice thing was that they weren't rushing us out the door the minute we were finished, but allowed us to linger and chat. No wonder the place is packed. Your server may decide to eat your meal in front of you, this exact situation happened to me at this ghastly restaurant. Servers are all horrible people, and kitchen staff couldn't cook kraft dinner. After waiting 2 hours for food that would only take 30 minutes to cook they tried to tell us it's only been 40 minutes. Disrespect after disrespect from the staff at this terrible place. A bit pricey, but really a wonderful experience overall. One thing to note is the two-hour limit on dining, which is best to know about in advance. I had the grilled seabass (fantastic) and my wife had a steak also good. The wine selection is honest and earthy with emphasis on portuguese and well priced. We come here to celebrate our one year anniversary and only because they have $1 oysters after 5pm. We figured we would have a 5 or 6 dozen and then head out to a lite dinner and some dancing. We never left Biffs. From the amazing service to having the evening manager come over to talk to us, everything here was wonderful. We ended up eating 8 dozen oysters, a bottle of champagne andtwo bottles of wine as well as the Scotch Eggs, Oh me oh my the scotch eggs here are to die for and you will not regret ordering them. We stayed for 5 hours enjoying thre ambience and each others talks. At the end of the night ( we closed the restaurant ) they brought us a complimentry dessert with happy anniversary wriiten in chocolate on it. Nice touch! I highly recommend this restuarant for dinner, business or personal. $1 oysters people! You cant go wrong. Amazing service Fresh and tasty food What are you waiting for? Make a reservation now! lol.
