As we don't currently have a Harvey's in my area (Thunder Bay), this is always the location I usually visit for my fix when I'm staying in downtown Toronto!...Unfortunately the PATH foodcourts (Harvey's) are sometimes unreliable with their hours of operation. I've been to this restaurant a number of times. They have some very good deals for lunch. The restaurant used to be run by an old Korean couple. The entire menu is uniquely Korean. They have a great Dolsot Bibimbap (mixed vegetables, shredded meat and a fried egg in a stone bowl). My favourite dish is the Chicken Dupbap (a teriyaki style chicken on a bed of rice). Their Mandu is also quite nice. Lunch comes with soup, salad, a few small side dishes, the main dish and usually an orange for $6.99.

I love beer and I love a long list of options recited to me by memory... there seem to be so many negative reviews about the Bier Markt but... it's a pub, really, and a spacious, respectable one with Great Beer at that. I was at the Esplanade location last Friday afternoon around 4pm with my husband and some friends and we had a fantastic time drinking pints of Steigl, Erdinger weissbrau, Jupiler, and sharing fondue--wish there was a ski hill nearby. I've been here often, mainly for the beer, but last Friday the atmosphere was great, really quiet and just right for a late lunch. I wish the decor was a little cozier inside.

Found this place one morning after a party and had breakfast with a friend.
Loved the food, loved the decor. Restaurant is clean and the food is adequately priced for their downtown location. You don't feel rushed to finish up and get out - the chef guy even left a pot of coffee on our table so we could refill it ourselves.
The chef guy does have an attitude but he is not obnoxious. Sometimes he gets bored and will eavesdrop on your conversation and make commentary, or crack a few jokes with you. He is authentic, and so is his restaurant.
I love the place and would take new people there.

When I crave very hot wings this is where I go. By far one of the hottest wings in town. I usually order the "death" or "armageddon" sause depending on my mood. I have noticed that the degree of how spicey the wings are can vary on any given day. My only gripe about this joint is that they have the shoe string fries & I personally like the thick cut fries to compliment my wings. As a man who has been chompin on wings for over 20 years, this place is one of my favorites. The service is decent & the place looks clean. The menu does seem to have variety for those who may crave something else other than wings.

One of the best pub experience ever. Excellent choice of food and service. We were a group of 6 we didn't have any reservation's. We all were served very nicely, drinks were filled constantly, manager was present and asked us how everything was and suggested us to stay for Karaoke as well. Food quality was excellent, we had wings for appetizer's. They were huge jumbo wing's and it was half price during the leafs game. Rest of all the food were excellent. I had the best turkey dinner at this establishment. The whole flavor, gravy and stuffing were just the best. Will tell all our friends's and highly recommend to every one.
