Dr Kong had been my dentist for years. I moved away and found myself with a toothache and I went to a well known clinic that deals with implants. They suggested removing 4 or 5 of my teeth including a front tooth. The cost was huge. I decided to go back to my original dentist in Newmarket. Great and welcoming staff. Doctor is perfect, very kind and gentle. He did the best job on two of my teeth and saved a dieing tooth. Great calm office environment. The only issue that I gave them 4 stars is they did not give any promotion regarding first visit and consultation to me. They charged me even for the first visit that was only a consultation session. Otherwise they were great and I recommend them.

As a senior I had shown up at the office 3 hours early d was told my appointment was at 2:30. I asked the receptionist if I could be taken in earlier to see Dr. Joe. See checked her schedule and said he could see me at 12;30. I thanked her and ran a couple of other errands.
I have been a patient of Dr Joe for over 30 years as have my youngest son . My Joe used to wear glasses and now at 33 he has no need for glasses. Today I just passed my vision testing for my drivers license at 82 .

The receptionists go above and beyond. Helen, just to name one, she has gone above and beyond her duties to make sure that everything worked out for me and my prescription, when she didn’t have to. I saw another review saying they don’t answer their phones - that’s not true and if they don’t it’s because they’re so good and busy and literally constantly on the phone or busy helping with patients. They ALWAYS call back when you leave a message. They treat every patient so well.
