We wanted to get am early lubch, so got in at opening time, precisly at 11.00 and were shown immediately to a table, only one customer arrived before us. We got the menu and iced water right away. There are 155 items on the menu, so we read for a while. The server took our order as soon as we were ready and the meal was served quite quickly. This was good, because the place filled up by about 11.45. We were given our banana dessert before we had quite finished, but decided that was ok, given the crowd. Service is always a bit iffy (English is obviously a second language for many of the staff) but despite coming here regularly for more than a decade, through three decor changes, and ordering just about everything on the menu, I have never had a bad meal. The vegetarian spring and salad rolls are particularly wonderful, and the pho is always fantastic. Very, very tasty. Read more

I have lived in Ottawa for 3 and a half years and this is still one of my favourite places to go! The owner is incredibly nice and the food is amazing (if it is your first time there, definitely order what the owner suggests!). The decor is great - definitely original - and the desserts are very impressive. It is a place to go when you are looking for a relaxing evening, not if you are in a rush. My husband and I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. We find that with Orleans being so full of "big box" generic restaurants, it's nice to find a little haven of yummy~ness! We've been here many times and ordered take-out as well and have never had any complaints. We always order the same thing (shrimp rice paper rolls, vermacelli with chicken and spring rolls - we've also tried the pho soup) and it's always SO good. The peanut sauce is definitely addictive!! Although ambiance is meh, service is spectacular - fast, friendly, and always accurate. Definitely a gem!!! Read more

The food here is so delicious. The menu is huge! All the dishes taste really fresh and the "bubble tea" is amazing! I forget what I ordered exactly, but it was spicy cripsy chicken on top of noodles. It was excellent. They also have the deep-fried standards like chicken wings, rice, and chicken balls. Anyone remember the chicken balls at Cresent Gardens? These are the closest that I've tasted to that recipe. I love the atmosphere! There's always karaoke music playing in the background, and the floors and tables are spotless. The little asian lady always has an interesting story to tell. All in all, although a bit expensive this restaurant makes great food, has a nice atmosphere. I'll be back! Read more
