My friends and I always enjoy Tokyo Kitchen. We've never been disappointed. The Gyoza are quite good. I tend to order the Donbury dishes and I go back again and again for them. My friends occasionally go for the ramen. They use the less common dark style with a touch of soy sauce in the broth. I'd recommend trying it at least once if you've only had light ramen before. The green tea icecream must be homemade. It's the most fantastic green tea icecream I've ever tasted. It's creamy and very mildly sweet with a real depth to the flavor - perfectly capturing the Japanese knack for subtle sweetness. Read more

I've been there multiple times, never spent more than 20 dollars with the tip, and always left in a great mood. The atmosphere is nice with not many tables, and cute decor. We had a family get together of 10 people dining at Crystal Rolls tonight. I highly recommend this thai-asian restaurant to people who are interested in asian food. Crystal Rolls has a big variety of food choices and almost each dish we ordered was delicious and authentic. We also enjoyed their romantic atmosphere and clean environment. Nice music and excellent service too. The best thing was that we didn't spend a lot of $ but we had a great time and great food. this is the first time i have ever decided to try out the actual authentic korean BBQ grilling experience instead of the canadian-nized all-you-can grill buffets and ohhh boy was it the best choice of my life! this place is not all you can eat so you only have a choice from eating one type of meat or the other but oh my gooodness, the meat here was sooo tender and juicy with sooooo much flavour to them! i swear to you this place serves up the best Galbi (beef short ribs) i have ever eaten and i'm sooo upset i didn't know about it soooner!! the Galbi here is ACTUAL MEAT, not the blubber stick of fat you'd find at other restaurants! the special grilling dish costs about $40 between 2 people (so basically $20 each) and it is sooo worth it as the portions are sooo huge along with all those side dishes they give you (more than 5! which can be refilled whenever you want) with also a hot stone tofu soup on the side. this place will give you a run for your money! serving on the menu says only for 2 people but can definetly serve up to 4! there was so much stuff left over to eat but in the end i wasn't able to finish it. :( so if you're ever craving for real korean meat, come here! this place realizes QUALITY over QUAINTITY. yum! Wonderful traditional flavor and properly made and presented. Dry Rib- Excellent. Wonderful taste, not overwhelming the meat, meat done to perfection. Was told it was more spicy than the wet rib, loved the heat. Had it with a nice Malbec Coleslaw - best I have ever had. The sauce was creamy but light and didn't overwhelm the veg. Very fresh and crunchy. Sweet Potato Fry- done nice and dark (double fried) and still full full of flavor but no grease AT ALL. excellent job. Atmosphere- low key, dim lights and excellent music mix. Easy to slip into an indulgent mode. Very comfortable in the diner decor and the simple bell used to signal the next order being ready. OVERALL - WOW! Will be back. Can't wait for patio season!
